Health Affairs Information Services

Health Affairs Information Services was formed in 1997 to support the information services and communications needs of the University of California, Irvine Health Sciences System. 

HAIS provides comprehensive computing support, e-mail, web services, server management, and database development services.  Additionally, we provide network and telephone services at the UCI Medical Center and outlining clinics.  With our wide range of expertise in new and emerging technologies, HAIS plays a vital role in advancing the institution's mission in education, research and patient care.

With over 70 employees, HAIS supports more than 6,000 computer users, over 200 servers and numerous clinical, research, and administrative software applications.  We have also created dozens of critical back-end systems to support the Health System's Internet and Intranet resources.
