Associated Organizations
The CBMI is strategically positioned to put into effect policies that will improve research IT and BMI throughout the campus. The organization and leadership structure of the CBMI contributes to its ongoing success by bringing together UC Irvine’s existing strengths in the fields of computer science, informatics, and computational biology. We are now well into the process of linking these strengths to the expertise in electronic health records currently being deployed throughout the UC Irvine system of clinics and hospitals. This organizational structure was designed to integrate the various IT and BMI entities throughout UC Irvine and to build a strong partnership with the Bren School of Information and Computer Science. |
