Virtual Workshop on How to Acquire and Analyze UCI Health Radiology Imaging Data The Collaboratory for Data in Health & Wellness is pleased to announce a virtual workshop which will present an overview of how to acquire and analyze radiology imaging data generated at UCI Health for research purposes. The presenter, Dr. Peter Chang, MD, is Assistant Professor-in-Residence in the Departments of Radiological Sciences and Computer Science and Co-Director of the Center for Artificial Intelligence in Diagnostic Medicine (CAIDM), a multi-specialty initiative to develop and integrate artificial intelligence technology across UCI Health. |

Using Data Science To Deliver Health Equity Speaker Biography: Katie Kalvoda is President of Advance OC, a nonprofit organization based in Orange County, CA. After a successful career in investment management, Katie shifted her data science expertise to help solve some of the most challenging social issues of our time. Understanding that data is destiny, Katie sought to give visibility to marginalized and vulnerable communities by spotlighting inequity. Along with her work at Advance OC, Katie is also a Board Member of the Mission Hospital Foundation, Board Member and Finance Chair for the Sisters of St Joseph Healthcare Foundation and a Board Member of the California Health Facilities Financing Authority. |
